June 18,1992
Lasva Valley Case. Those living in Lasva Valley (mostly Bosniak) were targeted as a separate race. This resulted in the citizens being imprisoned, murdered, raped and otherwise tortured. This was the first recorded killing of civilians.
April 16, 1993
The Ahmici Massacre. It took place in the Lasva Valley, and was a large direct attack. It was recorded that 172 people were killed. Hundreds more were wounded, and the village was destroyed.
